C919 get 100 planes contract

COMAC, AirChina, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, CDB Leasing and GECAS signed 100-plane contract in the first day of the 10th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai.

In order to enlarge the Chinese airplane maker's market, COMAC debut its first model C919 on The 10^th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai.

COMAC C919, designed and made by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd., is planed to make its first flight in 2014.

C919 is designed for 156—168 passengers.

COMAC consider C919 as the main product to compete with Airbus and Boing.

According to COMAC's schedule, the next model - C929 - is going to hold 250-290 passengers.
