CNNIC releases its new China Internet Network Information Center Domain Name Registration Rules for the Implementation on the 28th of May 2012. 2 years after Go Daddy stop selling .cn domain names. This revised version will allow individuals to register a CN domain.

On its official website, CNNIC says its new rules come into force from 00:00 29th of May 2012. This is the first time, Chinese individuals have rights to buy Chinese domains.

Chinese domains registration has dropped 10 million since Dec. 2009. Now the whole China only has 3 million Chinese domains registered.
