I have read an article on Shanghaiist about the sex education at first grade of primary school in China. That article goes below:
Chinese kids are starting early these days. Someone over at the PCPop.com forum with a nephew attending first grade looked through his textbooks one day and was shocked at what sex education for first graders looks like in China these days — funny cartoons, witty dialogues, testicles that talk to one another, and cool-looking Mr Condoms wearing shades. We wish sex education was this fun for us when we were growing up. No, wait a minute, we don't remember getting any form of sex education back then.
ChinaSmack offers a translation of the sex education materials and what commenters are saying here. Can sex education be too early? And if not, should first graders really be learning about condoms? Your thoughts?
It looks like Chinese sex education goes from one side of coin to the other(I mean from conservative to radical) and these questions 1 year ago now need to face seriously.
