Xiaomi is the top sale of 2014 in China

iSuppli Corp. released IHS 2014 China's smart phone sales list via Weibo. With no doubt, Xiaomi gain the top one by selling 60,800,000 smart phones in China in 2014.

The chart shows Apple sold more units in China than 2013, while Samsung's market share drops in a sharp way. According to current products, Samsung's sales in China will continue decline in the near future. Its Chinese counterparts rapidly improve their design and technology while keep the price at low level (for example Xiaomi's Mi 3 has the samiliar hardware profile as Galaxy S5, but Mi 3 is only sold for 1500RMB which is half of Galaxy S5).

Huawai Mobile is the 5th top sales in China 2014. But 2015 Huawei Honor plans to sell 40,000,000 units, that's a challenge according to current data.

Vivo, OPPO are good at Market Segmentation, 2014 they gains more shares. Huge investment on marketing and eye-catching design gained more female customers. So their product can be sold more than 3000RMB.

ZTE's market share continue to decline. But ZTE have already take measures to fight back, such as facelifted logo and new model Star II. Even though, ZTE has a long way to go before it return mainstream of the market.
