The said vehicle management service station established by BTMB in the Terminal 3 can offer the service of handling the temporary vehicle driving permit for those foreigners who temporarily enter the Chinese territory within 3 months and make foreigners receive the temporary driving license even without stepping outside the airport so as to make them enjoy the high-efficient service of BTMB. Meanwhile, the domestic travelers passing the said Airport, the masses waiting to meet and send off travelers, staff members of the said Building as well as taxi drivers can also hold Beijing driving license to handle the business such as changing the driving license due to its expiration and presenting the physical condition certificate in the said Station.
With the passenger flow volume of around 200,000 passing it on a daily basis, the said Airport is the 1st window that makes the domestic and international travelers better understand Beijing. The management unit of the said Terminal 3 made room for handling official business in the areas with distinct geographical location and that are convenient to the travel of the masses, and the leaders from the Sub-Bureau of Public Security of the said Airport performed on-the-spot official business to resolve the issue concerning the office equipment of the said Station and arranged the police to provide the masses with hospitable service. The Vehicle Management Service Station at Terminal 3 Provides Two Kinds of Management Services
Established on the first floor of Terminal 3 of the Capital Airport (opposite to the right side of Entrance No.7), T3 Vehicle Management Station provides two types of services concerning the driving license: firstly, to handle temporary motor vehicle driving permits for foreigners with overseas driving licenses that temporarily enter the territory of the People’s Republic of China and stay for not more than 3 months so that foreign visitors may enjoy our timely and efficient service upon their arrival at Beijing; secondly, to renew the expired driving licenses or deal with the submission of health certificates for the domestic passengers traveling back and forth the Airport, the people waiting to meet and send off travelers, T3 staff members or taxi drivers who possess the driving licenses issued by Beijing Municipality.
Chinese or Foreign Travelers Shall Bring Along with Relevant Application Materials
As introduced by the Station principals, the travelers form both home and abroad shall submit the following materials when applying for the driving permit of motor vehicles of temporary entry, the renewal of driving license upon expiration and the submission of health certificate.
(1) The drivers who apply for the driving permit of motor vehicles of temporary entry shall fill out in Chinese the Application Form of Driving Permit of Motor Vehicles of Temporary Entry and submit their identity documents entering or exiting the Chinese territory, overseas motor vehicle driving licenses and photos, provided that the said identity documents endorsed allow foreign visitors to stay in China for no longer than 3 months, the overseas motor vehicle driving license requires the Chinese translation, in addition, the driver’s age and health shall be in conformity with the driving permission requests set up by China. Provided all relevant materials verified conform to the regulations, the drivers shall be organized to learn road traffic safety laws and regulations and be issued the driving permit of motor vehicles of temporary entry.
(2) People who intend to renew the motor vehicle driving license upon expiration shall submit the driving license with the validity period to expire within 3 months; the health certificate issued by medical institutions above the county or regiment (army) level and legitimate identity documents.
(3) People who submit the health certificate are supposed to hand in the said certificate issued by medical institutions above the county or regiment (army) level and the list of physical examination institutions could be inquired by logging on BTMB external network homepage (

In addition, the BTMB Vehicle Management Station at Terminal 3 of the Capital Airport also provides a range of personalized services: first, translate driving licenses for foreign passengers free of charge, fill out Chinese and English forms, consult the traffic police on the spot, hand out application instructions, etc.; second, take photos and copy materials required by the license application on site; third, coordinate the airport hospital to provide health check service to willing people, and help them go through all vehicle and traffic formalities within the Terminal; fourth, in order to provide professional-standard vehicle management service to passengers from home and abroad, the Vehicle Management Station and the Capital Airport traffic police detachment have also deployed two foreign affair policemen proficient in English at the service station to handle and process the formalities for Chinese and foreign passengers as well as people in need.

(i) Qualifications for Application
1. Motor vehicle drivers staying in China for no longer than 3 months may apply for temporary motor vehicle driving permits;
2. Foreign motor vehicle drivers who need to drive the motor vehicle hired in China after temporarily entering the Chinese territory.
(ii) Documents Required
1. Identification papers for entry and exit;
2. An overseas motor vehicle driving license, provided it is written in a language other than Chinese, a Chinese translation shall be required;
3. Documents proving that the driver’s age and health are in conformity with the driving permission requests set up by China.
