CHR (China High-speed Railway) train D182 stopped on track as power outage 12nd July 2011.
Two weeks after its grand opening that showed off China's hopes for a bright hi-tech future, a flagship high-speed rail line between Beijing and Shanghai has already left passengers stranded for hours on stuffy trains due to power outages.
Travellers waiting for delayed trains also found that the gleaming new stations along the line lacked snack shops and comfortable waiting rooms. An attendant told one waiting passenger to walk to a nearby village to buy toilet paper.
The express was shut down by power failures three times in the two weeks since it opened to great fanfare on June 30. A power cut on Tuesday halted 30 trains.
Its launch was coordinated with the 90th anniversary of the ruling Communist Party and hailed as a sign of modernisation and willingness to invest in top-notch infrastructure.

So there's this brand new trend walking along side our obsession with the top wifi products [1], and it's the best way to keep their batteries completely full. With most of the brand new pads and tablets, iphones, and laptops the only common problem is the most hassle-free approach to have them recharged. Unluckily, like several things, this shortly became a trouble. How can I get my device with me at home if it must remain connected at the portable computer?

The Fujitsu-designed K Computer, announced as winner of the biannual Top500 supercomputer list on Monday at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) in Hamburg, is three times faster on the Linpack high-performance computing (HPC) benchmark than last November's winner, the Tianhe-1A.
K Computer is capable of over eight quadrillion calculations per second with an Rmax score of 8.16 petaflops. This makes it more powerful than the next five systems in the top 10 combined.
Unlike previous winners, K Computer does not use graphical processing units (GPUs), such as those made by Nvidia, nor does it use x86 processors from Intel and AMD; instead, is it based on Fujitsu-designed Sparc processors.
