Dongfeng Motor started to produce sedan since the establishment of its joint-venture with Citroen 17 years ago. This year it brings its concept car - I car - in Shanghai auto show.

The inspiration comes from a famous Chinese painter Han Meilin who named his book as a "sealed book" which is a collection of unknown symbols.

Those unknown symbols, they integrated in the design of I car, will waken the curiosity of drivers and lead them into unknown fields.

Geely GE at shanghai auto show

Some websites describe Geely Excellence - GE - as a Rolls-Royce rip-off from China or Perfect Rolls-Royce Phantom Clone, let's listen what's Li Shufu's opinion on his own car: Geely Excellence is much safer than Rolls-Royce, and it will be sold at price 100 Million Yuan (about 146340 U.S. dollars)

It's much safter than Rolls-Royce, How is that possible? The MBH makes it come ture!

Geely Auto is one of the biggest shareholders of MBH (about 23% shares), while MBH is the main maker of Rolls-Royce Body Part and other parts. So there is no barrier for Geely to produce a Rolls-Royce Chinese version, Geely can make it much safer.

Li Shufu, the founder of Geely Auto, said "Car is a big sofa with 4 wheels" when he was walking into Auto industry. Now he achieves what he said years ago, just take a look at the solo imperatorial sofa in the rear part. So stop repeating "copycat", "clone" or "rip-off", respect him as a powerful global competitor.
